Thor Odinson, often simply referred to as Thor, is a prominent character within the Marvel Comics universe, originating in Norse mythology. He is the Asgardian God of Thunder, son of Odin, the Allfather, and Jord (also known as Gaea), the Earth goddess.

Born and raised in Asgard, Thor possesses superhuman strength, stamina, and longevity far exceeding that of humans. He wields the enchanted hammer Mjolnir, which grants him the power to control storms, fly, and summon lightning. Mjolnir also possesses an enchantment that only allows the worthy to lift it.
